A four-time Emmy® Award-winning writer for Bill Nye the Science Guy, Lynn has over 20 years experience teaching, writing and producing materials for kids. Previously a classroom science, English and art teacher for grades K-12, an editor, illustrator, and author of over 35 titles, Lynn has developed and written projects for Scholastic, Random House, Penguin, A&E, The Discovery Channel, Disney, ABC TV, The Annenburg Foundation, Nickelodeon and PBS.
Lynn co-developed Artopia, a mixed media television series about art for kids, which was sold to PBS affiliate Thirteen/WNET New York in 2004 and began pilot production in 2008. Lynn was a co-writer for Three Chicks Media's animated television series and web project promoting an empowered, entrepreneurial mindset for kids called All Terrain Brain.
Her books Yoga for Chickens and Pop Bottle Science debuted in summer 2004. Pop Bottle Science received the Parent's Choice Award in 2004 and was named among the best products for children in 2005 by iParenting Media Awards. Lynn's book Camp Out! The Ultimate Kid's Guide hit stores in Spring 2007 and won the Parent's Choice Gold Award that same year. Her book Mama's Little Book of Tricks was also published in 2007.
