A four-time Emmy Award-winning writer for “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” Lynn Brunelle has over 20 years of experience writing across all manner of media from award-winning board games such as Cranium and the popular Brainquest series to best-selling books Pop Bottle Science, Camp Out, Mama's Little Book of Tricks and Chicken Scratches to “Travels to the Edge with Art Wolfe,” a PBS television series which won the American Broadcasting Award in 2008.

Previously a classroom teacher, an editor, illustrator, and award-winning author of over 45 titles, Lynn has created and written projects for Chronicle, Workman, National Geographic, Scholastic, Random House, Penguin, A&E, The Discovery Channel, Disney, ABC TV, NPR, The Annenberg Foundation, World Almanac, Cranium and PBS.

Lynn was a co-writer for Three Chicks Media's animated television series and web project promoting an empowered, entrepreneurial mindset for kids called All Terrain Brain. Also for Three Chicks, Lynn co-developed Artopia, a mixed media television series about art for kids, which was sold to PBS affiliate Thirteen/WNET New York.

In 2008, Lynn produced 20 World Almanac Puzzler Decks with Chronicle Books which received the 2008 Parents Choice Award, Learning Magazine's Teacher's Choice Award and Education.com's A+ Award, among others. Lynn's book Camp Out! The Ultimate Kid's Guide hit stores in spring 2007 and won the Parent's Choice Gold Award that same year. Pop Bottle Science (2004) received the Parent's Choice Award in 2004 and was named among the best products for children in 2005 by iParenting Media Awards.

Lynn is a regular family-activity consultant and on-air contributor for Martha Stewart Radio as well as creator of Tabletop Science videos for NPR's Science Friday. She also writes for several magazines.
